TITLE: State Sums in 2-dimensional G-equivariant Extended Topological Field Theories

ABSTRACT: Following Lurie’s Cobordism Hypothesis we classify 2-dimensional G-equivariant extended topological field theories with values in the 2-category of algebras. We provide a general mechanism for interpreting triangulations of surfaces in the bordism (infinity,2)-category, in particular, in its 2-fold complete Segal space model. We use this mechanism together with the above classification to derive Turaev’s state sum formula for 2-dimensional homotopy quantum field theory.
