For general enquiries or problems with the graduate application process, or to request copies of the application forms in the mail, please contact Brandalee Davis, our graduate secretary. You should also get in touch with Brandalee if you wish to visit the department, and she can arrange for you to meet other people during your trip.
The director of graduate studies this year is Dev Sinha. You should get in touch with Dev if you have mathematical questions about our graduate program, or technical questions about the mathematical prerequisites needed before you apply.
The chair of the appointments committee this year is Peter Gilkey. This is the committee that reviews all graduate applications and makes recommendations to the department head. The head of the department is Brad Shelton. Brad makes the final decisions about which applicants are offered positions and GTFs. You should not normally need to get in touch with either Peter or Brad, but they may well contact you to discuss your application in more detail.
