Introduction to Abstract Algebra I.

  • PREREQUISITES: The prerequisite for this course is Math 342.
  • COURSE CONTENT: In Math 444-446 we study theory of groups, rings, and fields, polynomial rings, unique factorization, and Galois theory. We will also cover many applications of these concepts.
